Is the Lord prompting you to go to Africa during the long summer holidays? Then consider and pray about the possibility of joining one of our Synergy teams. The approximate dates for the 2008 teams span between the middle of June and the end of August.

You will meet the rest of the team and have orientation for 4 days in the UK and then leave for Africa shortly afterwards. You will need your church to support you in prayer and in any other possible way. You will be encouraged to set up a group of people to commit to pray for you while you are away. On your return you will be debriefed on your experience.  The approximate cost for each team is £1800.

The aim of a Synergy team is to give you the opportunity of experiencing overseas mission by using your skills to serve God in Africa.

Construction Team, Sudan 2008 

(6-8 people) Are you up for a challenge? This team will run for 6 weeks during July and August and be based in a mountainous and rural part of Sudan. The team will be helping to complete the homes for a team of missionaries who will soon be learning language and culture and evangelising from this base. While it will be the rainy season we hope the majority of the work will be inside the new houses completing jobs such as shelving, whitewashing etc. This team is not for the faint hearted as cooking and laundry etc. will all be basic and the responsibility of the team. Another fantastic opportunity to practically show God’s love and fulfil his commandment to love each other as you provide a home and shelter for those going out with God’s great gospel.
