Is the Lord prompting you to go to Africa during the long summer holidays? Then consider and pray about the possibility of joining one of our Synergy teams. The approximate dates for the 2008 teams span between the middle of June and the end of August.

You will meet the rest of the team and have orientation for 4 days in the UK and then leave for Africa shortly afterwards. You will need your church to support you in prayer and in any other possible way. You will be encouraged to set up a group of people to commit to pray for you while you are away. On your return you will be debriefed on your experience.  The approximate cost for each team is £1800.

The aim of a Synergy team is to give you the opportunity of experiencing overseas mission by using your skills to serve God in Africa.

Clouds of Hope team South Africa 2008

(6-8 people) Clouds of Hope is a children’s home supporting those affected by HIV/AIDS and also working towards AIDS prevention. You will primarily be doing construction work with the possibility of being involved in their ministries such as outreach, looking after 1-18 year olds and supporting mothers.  This team will also include Canadians and run during June and July. Lots of energy, love and a heart for working with children is a must for this team!
