Synergy is the name given to the Aim International short term mission programme which offers people a first-step into the long term objectives of world mission (Matt 28:19-20; Col 1:28a).

The purpose of the Synergy programme is to provide people with the opportunity to respond to the Lord’s call to serve churches and communities throughout Africa. To that end we offer a flexible and varied programme of ministry opportunities. We have summer teams and gap year placements. We have opportunities for those wanting to take a career break or who have retired early.

Synergy is also a discipleship programme that offers people a level of mentoring through pre-field, on-field and post-field training. We have developed a discipleship programme that incorporates Biblical perspectives on mission, own-culture and cross-culture awareness and practical ministry.

Synergy provides people with an introduction into cross cultural ministry through hands-on participation and training.

The programme caters for anyone who is over the age of eighteen and has a desire to use their gifts and abilities to the glory of God in Africa.

Synergy is able to offer the chance for you to partner with local churches and para-church organisations throughout Africa, giving you the opportunity to enhance their existing ministries and develop your own.
