Hi Folks,

sorry it has been so long since I last emailed but things have been a bit hard over the past while.  I’m sure most of you know that my granda passed away a few weeks ago.  It was a hard time being out here and knowing what my family were going through at home but I know that Gods timing is perfect because two of my friends came to visit me a week later and they were a real encouragement.  Also, there was the death of Laura, the medical student from London who died in a bus accident on the way back up to Kampala which was a real shock to the whole Kisiizi community and has made us all aware of the dangers of travelling within Uganda. Thank you to everyone who emailed, sent cards or letters over the past while and also for your prayer support because it really has helped me to get through this difficult time.

Hi Everyone,

ts hard to believe that over 2 months have already passed since I left home. Thank you for the prayers so far they really are appreciated and I am feeling much more settled now.  I would say that it probably took me a month or 6 weeks to really settle in which was hard for those first few weeks.  Thank you so much to everyone who has sent me letters, cards and parcels, it really has been lovely to know that you are thinking of me.
